August is Birthday Month for the Fat Rat Mafia!
Let’s Celebrate One Year!
Round two of the Say Cheese Photo Hunt is underway. The submissions are fantastic already! Just like the one in March, the hunt is focused on having FUN with CREATIVITY! And this time we’re going to curate the entries for a special NFT release! Fat Rat Mafia community members are also providing some graphic overlays. These will be randomly generated around the border of some images.
PARTICIPATE
Simply look at the day’s prompt, create your piece, post on Twitter tagging @frmsaycheese and @fatratmafia AND include the daily prompt as a hashtag (i.e. #hot).
CREATIVE PROMPTS
Each numbered prompt found below is for that specific day of August. So, on the first day, you will upload an image, animation, video, or song that is inspired by or connected to the creative prompt “hot”.
Is it hot food, a sweaty athlete, steam rising, or just something beautiful? Do this each day with the associated creative prompt. Use this as an opportunity to get your camera, brush, pens, etc. in your hand each day. Or, go through your archives, tweak your edit, and upload!
MAKE IT OFFICIAL
Before uploading an official submission, please read THE COPYRIGHT LIABILITY WAIVER and the LICENSE GRANT found in the form below. When ready each day, fill out the form and upload your file. PLEASE NAME YOUR FILE YourName_Title.jpg. pretty please! The Say Cheese team reserves the right to decline any submission for any reason because…well, you know..the mafia. Even if you don’t want to upload here for the official NFT collection, we encourage everyone to tag @frmsaycheese and @fatratmafia on Twitter with each post!
THEN WHAT?
We will be creating an NFT collection on OpenSea with our friends at AIOW. Their platform will ensure we have our contract solidified, it will place the graphic overlays on for us, and it will help us with a few other necessities to make this happen.
WHAT ABOUT THE MONEY?
After the collection mints out, we’ll have a roundtable with the team and the collection’s artists to decide what happens with the proceeds. We could decide to buy rats or cheese to use for prizes or giveaways, we could divide it up between the artists, we could support other projects connected to FRM community members, or all of the above.
