Tales of Island Time: Is it really a thing?

Is island time a real thing? Now, we do need to keep in mind that Hurricane Dorian (Sept 2019) is still impacting many islands. And, of course, the pandemic has made regular business hard to conduct. With that said, we had a sales agreement signed in April of 2021 for our lot. It’s now October and we still haven’t closed. I keep saying, “Thank goodness we’re not in a hurry!”. Ha! Most U.S. residential real estate sales close in 30 days. We’re on month seven ;)
