We were so excited to finally have all the signed paperwork for our Bahamian land purchase in our hands! All that was left was to sign it, get it notarized, and send it back to our lawyers! Or, so we thought.

In 1975, artist and Green Turtle Cay native Alton Lowe purchased a 150-year old Loyalist home in New Plymouth – one of the few to survive the devastating 1932 hurricane – and spent more than a year restoring the structure.

The New Plymouth Inn is getting a new roof!

Mat was able to stay at the John Lowe house with an NGO on the island building a home lost in Hurricane Dorian.

If there is one thing for sure on Green Turtle Cay, that’s the fact that the island is open for business! Don’t miss one of our previous posts with the restaurant map. We did a ride through New Plymouth on New Year’s Day (2022) and photographed many of the businesses.

The sun was out so we did some island exploring, took some photos, and had an amazing dinner at Green Turtle Club.

We loved being about to tour Bonefish Bluff to get a true feel for being inside a Deltec home. We really like the floor plan but would love three bedrooms!
